This should work if you’re using an in-line mic or if you’re using a headset. When you make a Skype call, the audio that’s playing on your system will be heard in the call. Open the dropdown for ‘Microphone’ and select ‘Stereo Mix’ from the menu. On the Settings window, go to the Audio & Video tab. Click the more options button next to your name and from the menu, select Settings. Once you’ve enabled Stereo Mix, open Skype.

If it doesn’t, you need to install the RealTek audio driver on your system. If you do not see it, right-click an empty area in the devices list and enable both the ‘Show Disabled Devices’ and ‘Show Disconnected Devices’ options.

If you see ‘Stereo Mix’, make sure it is enabled. Open the Control Panel and select Hardware and Sound.
